Heathy steps to Holistic Health:
1) Accept full responsibility for your life-
2) Believe in an intelligent, loving power greater than yourself (however you see this and whatever you choose to call it)
3) Identify and admit to self-defeating behavior and thoughts in order to take charge of your life.
4) Actively learn to replace these self-defeating thoughts with productive and positive thoughts and behaviors.
5) Identify and focus attention on what you DESIRE to have in your life.
6) Learn to Love and respect yourself-accept that you are fully capable of becoming whatever you choose.
7) Spend time in meditation or prayer and connect with that “higher power” asking for guidance.
8) Be receptive to new ideas, new ways of doing things, listen to guidance, seek out mentors
9) Touch the lives of others-give of yourself, but keep boundaries clear. Altruism is giving without the thought of payment. Share the successes and the “ahas” of those around you.
